Tips for a Successful Season

Team Meeting

  • Arrange during 1st week of practice, once managers have been established
  • Coaches can layout player expectations to both parents and players
  • Coaches can read the Player Code of Conduct and have players sign off
  • Manager can collect Medical/Media Forms
  • Bond cheques can be collected for Volunteer Hours, $100 and Jerseys, $100 (if no jersey parent). Cheques can be post dated to July 30 of the current year, made out to Olds Lacrosse
  • Tournaments should be decided on, and booked into soon after as they are filling up faster every year
  • Cash call should be discussed
  • Parents can ask questions
  • Volunteer expectations should be laid out, and volunteers recruited if needed (ie. Jersey Parent, Trainer, Assistant Coaches)
  • Fundraising can be discussed
  • Ensure all families have the Ramp App

  • The earlier you can confirm tournament dates, the more likely CALL will be able to schedule league games around those
  • Game Changes must be submitted before April 29/23
  • Game Change Forms are required
  • Familiarize yourself with the game sheet, and how to submit a game sheet to CALL
